Hey Guys,  Youtube decided to take down the Arbuckle Christmas video, so I thought I’d send it over to Vimeo.

An Arbuckle Thanksgiving (with Twist Ending)

After months of recovery in the wake of his Christmas psychotic break, things are finally looking up for Jon Arbuckle. He has a true desire to get better, a new medication that is just right for him, and – best of all – a date for Thanksgiving dinner! But before the turkey is even carved, Jon finds that some inner demons are too hungry to shut out…

There are a lot of hatches on the island in LOST, but I think this is the one I’d most want to be stationed at.

Hey everyone! After a break, I’m back with a new post and it’s a good one.  It’s another Garfield video to wet your whistles! And be sure not to miss the twist ending! It’s a big twist!

“Jon Arbuckle, an awkward young man dealing with the aftermath of his childhood schizophrenia, revisits the rural town he grew up in for the Holidays. While home, he learns the true meaning of Christmas when he spends some much needed time with his grandmother who is dealing with the early effects of Alzheimer’s.”

UPDATE:

Here’s the new Vimeo posting, since YouTube decided to take the video down.

Multiplicity: Apocalypse

I put together this little trailer mash-up for a video contest at my college (go University of Colorado at Boulder!). It’s a spin on the classic 1996 film Multiplicity… if Michael Keaton’s clones were to continue expanding to a catastrophic degree.

Leisure Suit Artie?

Leisure Suit Larry - Love for SailAny and all adventure game news gets me going, and this is certainly an unexpected story. Word over at Artie Lange’s blog is that he’ll be voicing Big Al in a new Leisure Suit Larry game. Artie’s involvement isn’t shocking so much as the shear fact that a new Leisure Suit Larry game is being made. The last Leisure Suit Larry game released did not turn a lot of profit, but there is the possibility the adventure game audience has been growing as a result of the several successful Nintendo DS “adventure games.” If you ask me, there would be nothing better than a renewed interest in the genre. Could it be people are leaning more towards good story than good graphics?

Michael Showalter’s “Sandwiches & Cats” and Michael Ian Black’s “I’m a Wonderful Man”

“Sandwiches and Cats” coverOnly a few weeks after Michael Ian Black’s solo comedy album I’m a Wonderful Man was released, Michael Showalter (a.k.a. the hot one) is out with his own sketch/stand-up hybrid entitled Sandwiches & Cats. While Black’s effort is a taping of one of his live shows, Showalter’s album is not entirely compiled of stand-up segments and benefits from a handful of songs (or, more accurately, narration over music) and sketches.

If nothing else, it’s interesting to finally shatter the Stella triad and get a glimpse into what two members contribute individually. Check em’ out!

Update: A recent interview with Michael Showalter confirms the development of a The State sketch comedy movie about the history of America. [via Pitchfork Media]
